We are seeking a seasoned Chief Engineer to join our client, focusing on the renewable sector with an R&D facility in the Stoke on Trent area. This high-impact role is ideal for someone passionate about steering large industrial process systems projects with an analytic mindset towards mechanical design.
Key Responsibilities:* Leverage over a decade of experience in mechanical design related to industrial process systems such as SKIDS or forms of water systems * Manage P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) development processes aimed at containerisation strategies.* Demonstrate project leadership from conception through implementation phases across global settings, particularly frequent travels primarily focused on the Middle East regions.* Analyse system configurations using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).* Support the business in developing their capability for manufacture
Skills & Experience:* Minimum of ten year's hands-on involvement designing complex engineering systems such as Skids/ process automation systems or systems for the water/ oil & gas/ petrochemical/ energy sectors * Project Leadership - Ability to spearhead major projects, ensuring effective collaboration among cross-functional teams. * Analysis Proficiency - Expertise utilising computational tools like CFD for simulation purposes * Experience setting up or enhancing manufacturing capabilities
