Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: Circa 70,000 + 15% Bonus

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Manager to oversee residential house building projects based in Stoke-on-Trent. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards, while maintaining a strong focus on health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the construction of residential projects in line with design specifications and safety policies
  • Ensure all activities follow the company's health and safety procedures, maintaining a culture of safety on site
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities on site, managing site resources including labour, plant, and materials
  • Develop project documentation, including programmes and budgets, in collaboration with the Contracts Manager
  • Oversee the programming, planning, and execution of all works
  • Manage subcontractors, ensuring their work meets required standards and deadlines
  • Liaise with design teams, architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure project deliverables are met
  • Monitor site progress, quality standards, productivity targets, and costs
  • Identify potential savings and highlight overspends
  • Ensure the quality of construction is upheld throughout the project lifecycle
  • Produce and maintain progress reports, quality plans, and site schedules

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable track record of residential house building project management
  • Professional qualification to an appropriate level
  • Ability to lead and work with multi-disciplinary teams and interface with clients
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Excellent technical and practical knowledge with the ability to resolve important details
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and be valid to drive in the UK
  • First Aid trained
  • SMSTS qualified
