As the Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in menu development, kitchen management, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.?We are seeking an individual who shares our love for food, embraces creativity, and has exceptional culinary skills.

The Bell is a former eighteenth century coaching inn, situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Alderminster, close to the cultural town of Stratford-upon-Avon and the gateway to the Cotswolds. It is part of the historic Alscot Estate, a thriving award-winning country estate dating back to the middle ages.

Inside you will find a large bar crammed with local favourites and many different sized rooms to suit your mood, be it wanting a cosy nook with a log fire or a light airy room with a view over the stone terrace and gardens beyond. If youd like to extend your visit with us, we have 8 beautiful bedrooms for guests to join us for the evening and if you are planning a get together a Private Dining room with a balcony that will comfortably seat 14 for a gathering or meeting.

About you...

Our kitchens are dynamic, fast paced, and high volume so you will have experience of being a head chef, chef manager, kitchen manager or senior sous chef in a busy, premium fresh food environment. You will be responsible for the food culture within your pub, working closely with the pub manager to drive the business forward, helping to formulate seasonal menus with our Executive Chefs. We are looking for a confident leader who will nurture their team and create an inclusive and supportive environment. Youll also need excellent business acumen to manage a well-run kitchen, keeping on top of your stock, GPs and labour controls.
