The firm works with a range of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, offering comprehensive legal support tailored to their unique needs.

Role Overview:

My client is currently seeking a Senior Private Family Solicitor to join the firm's dynamic and growing family law department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced solicitor to work with a team that is well known for providing expert advice in complex family matters, including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, pre-nuptial agreements, and more. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a varied caseload, working closely with clients, and providing high-level strategic advice in a professional and empathetic manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a diverse and complex caseload of private family law matters, including divorce, financial disputes, child arrangements, and pre-nuptial agreements.
  • Providing high-quality advice to clients, ensuring a personal, professional, and empathetic approach.
  • Handling high-net-worth individuals and sensitive family matters with discretion and attention to detail.
  • Assisting clients in mediation, negotiation, and litigation when necessary, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
  • Managing relationships with clients, both new and existing, providing ongoing support and legal guidance.
  • Contributing to the firm's development through networking and business development activities.
  • Mentoring junior members of the team and providing training as required.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in private family law.
  • Proven expertise in managing high-net-worth family matters and complex legal issues.
  • Strong knowledge of family law, financial settlements, child law, and pre-nuptial agreements.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and difficult situations.
  • Ability to work independently, whilst also collaborating effectively with a wider team.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic and motivated to contribute to the growth of the department.
