We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our team, focusing on Key Stage 2 (KS2) interventions for Year 4 and Year 5 students. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children's educational and developmental needs.
Day-to-day of the role:- Work closely with KS2 teachers to identify students who require additional support in Year 4 and Year 5.
- Deliver targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy to help raise student attainment.
- Assist in the planning and preparation of activities tailored to individual or small group needs.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Support the creation of a safe and stimulating learning environment.
- Engage with students to foster a positive learning attitude and address any individual concerns.
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with KS2.
- Strong understanding of the educational needs of Year 4 and Year 5 students.
- Ability to plan and deliver effective interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and compassionate approach to student development.
- Relevant qualifications in education or child development are preferred.
