We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team, focusing on Key Stage 2 (KS2) interventions for Year 4 and Year 5 students. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children's educational journeys and capable of providing targeted assistance to enhance their learning experiences.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Work closely with the classroom teacher to identify students in Year 4 and Year 5 who require additional support.
  • Assist in planning and delivering effective intervention sessions tailored to the needs of individual students or small groups.
  • Monitor and record the progress of students during intervention sessions and provide feedback to the classroom teacher.
  • Engage with students to foster a positive learning environment and encourage their academic and social development.
  • Utilise a variety of educational resources to enhance the learning experience and meet educational objectives.
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions as required to ensure best practices in educational support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in KS2.
  • Strong understanding of the educational needs of Year 4 and Year 5 students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
