Finance Business PartnerSunderlandUp to £60,000 + benefits We are seeking a commercially astute Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic and fast-paced retail business. Working closely with the Senior Financial Controller, this role will play a critical part in providing financial insight, driving strategic decision-making, and improving business performance. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the business to deliver meaningful financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities include:-
- Act as a trusted financial advisor to operational teams, providing insight and challenge to improve business performance.
- Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and trends, translating complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Partner with senior management to support strategic initiatives, pricing strategies, and cost control measures.
- Provide variance analysis, explaining financial results, and recommending corrective actions where necessary.
- Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, supply chain, and operations teams to enhance financial understanding and influence decision-making.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Support financial modelling and scenario planning for new business opportunities and market changes.

Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a commercial finance or finance business partnering role.
- Experience within the retail, FMCG, or consumer goods industry preferred.
- Proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering.
