Sellick Partnership is currently assisting in the recruitment of a Legal Cashier for a law firm in Sunderland on a permanent basis. This role is paying between 25,000 - 29,000.

Responsibilities of the Legal Cashier include:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the firm
Process client and office account transactions, including receipts, payments, and transfers
Reconcile bank statements and client ledgers
Prepare and submit VAT returns
Handle client billing and invoicing
Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes
Ensure compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules

The ideal candidate will:

Have experience in a similar role
Have excellent attention to detail
Have strong communication skills
