Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Thurrock, Essex
Project: Statera Project
Start Date: Early April 2025
Project Duration: 12-18 months
Day Rate: 500 per day via Limited Company or CIS Self-Employed

About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team for the Statera Project in Thurrock. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, contributing to a significant project with long-term impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and overseeing all aspects of cost management on the project.

• Administering NEC Option C (Target Cost) contracts effectively.

• Preparing and reviewing project budgets, forecasts, and reports.

• Leading cost control, change management, and risk assessment activities.

• Liaising with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure financial objectives are met.

• Providing strategic advice on contract and commercial matters.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, preferably on large-scale engineering projects.

• Strong background in managing NEC Option C (Target Cost) contracts is essential.

• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a project team.

• Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
