Job Description

The successful Site Manager will oversee daily property and facilities operations. This role requires solid facilities management experience, familiarity with general maintenance and repairs, as well as Microsoft Office, and excellent communication and organisational skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Safety First - keep the school environment clean and safe for all pupils and staff.
  • Ensure buildings are prepped and ready for use every day.
  • Manage facilities efficiently, adhering to health, safety, and eco-friendly policies.
  • Oversee heating, lighting, and building systems to ensure they run smoothly.
  • Secure the grounds and oversee a comprehensive preventative maintenance program with regular inspections of buildings, alarms, systems, and equipment.
  • Conduct risk assessments
  • Manage external contractors to complete projects on time and to standard.
  • Lead and coordinate fire drills, lockdowns, and other emergency procedures.
  • Mentor and line manage the Estates Caretakers and Assistants, fostering a strong team spirit and leading by example
