Position: Mathematics Teacher
Key Stages: KS3 - KS5
Location: Sutton
Start Date: April 2025
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Maths Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive school in Sutton. This role is ideal for an experienced teacher or an ambitious ECT looking to make a real impact on students’ progress and achievement.
The Role:
- Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach KS5
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire students and build confidence in maths
- Plan and assess effectively to ensure excellent student progress
- Use innovative teaching methods to make mathematics accessible and enjoyable
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and support initiatives
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary school level
- A strong understanding of the national curriculum and exam board requirements
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for developing numeracy skills and fostering a love for problem-solving
