The Role - SEN Mentor

In this role as a SEN Mentor, you will be supporting secondary aged children who have complex mental health struggles or disorders. You will work with the children in a hospital setting, ensuring they are still accessing education whilst undergoing medical treatment in the hospital. You must have worked in a similar SEN setting previously to be able to effectively support children with these difficulties.

The School - SEN Mentor

Based in the borough of Sutton, this service is undertaken at a hospital, providing education to children of secondary ages who are struggling with mental health disorders such as eating disorders, depressions and schizophrenia. There are multiple wards for small groups of children with varying needs. They are rated 'Good' with Ofsted! This is an easy to reach site via public transport.
