About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Psychology Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive team at a well-regarded secondary school in Swadlincote. The role will begin immediately and run through to the end of the academic year, with the possibility of securing a permanent position for the right candidate. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and nurture the next generation of psychologists in a vibrant school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Psychology lessons to secondary school students.
• Prepare and mark coursework and examinations in line with curriculum guidelines.
• Support students in their academic and personal development.
• Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Participate in school-wide events and initiatives to promote student well-being and achievement.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A degree in Psychology (or a related subject).
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Psychology at secondary school level is preferred but not essential.
• A strong passion for Psychology and the ability to inspire students.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
