SF Recruitment are working with a fantastic client of ours in Swadlincote to recruit for a Payroll Assistant to join their team on a temporary contract until April. The role is fully office based with the working hours Monday to Thursday 8am until 4.30pm with an early finish on a Friday at 1.30pm. We are looking for a personable candidate who has payroll experience under their belt who is happy to commit to the duration of the role. Take a look at some duties below: - Monitor attested hours, check overtime and check hours on employee timesheets. - Calculate accurate wages, including any bonuses, salary increases or overtime. - Calculate any tax or national insurance deductions and pensions contributions. - Calculate statutory payments, such as maternity, paternity and sick leave. - Calculate and process accurate payments to employees by cash, cheque or electronic transfer, ensuring strict deadlines are met. - Issue relevant tax forms. - Administer starter / leaver process including all documentation, induction processes as and when required. - Provide administrative support to line managers in HR processes, including note taking If this role looks of interest to you and you would like to know more detail then please apply to be considered for this position.
