Planning Coordinator required in Swadlincote Salary: £28,000-£35,000 Full-Time, Permanent Flexible Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 4pm and a 1:30pm finish on Fridays! Office Based SF Recruitment are working in partnership with a fantastic client based in Burton-on-Trent, who are looking for a Planning Coordinator to join their friendly and collaborative team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary of £28,000-£35,000 depending on experience, along with flexible working hours. You'll work Monday to Thursday, 8:30am-4:00pm and enjoy an early 1:30pm finish on Fridays - a great way to kickstart your weekend! What You'll Be Doing:

  • Coordinating the daily planning and material clearance for product assembly orders.
  • Monitoring customer order flow and updating daily control boards.
  • Acting as a key liaison with other departments, providing updates on material status and delivery timelines.
  • Handling detailed planning and release of manufacturing orders, ensuring alignment with delivery dates, material availability, and production capacity.
  • Participating in daily planning forums and contributing key updates and planning insights.
  • Taking part in improvement groups, suggesting enhancements and initiating equipment-related purchases when needed.
  • Supporting the purchasing of indirect expenses as part of your wider planning duties.
  • Administering customer and subsidiary order workflows and documentation.

  • Someone highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to keep on top of planning in a fast-paced production environment.
  • A strong communicator who's confident liaising with internal departments and contributing to team discussions.
  • Previous experience in production planning or coordination would be ideal.
