We are currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant to join our small family run client based in Swindon.

Expectations and requirements of the job

  • The ability to work accurately and quickly.
  • Good spoken and written English.
  • Professional representation of the company when dealing with customers over the phone and by email.
  • Comfortable with a small-team and office environment.
  • At least a basic computer literacy is required, mainly Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Type at a reasonable speed.

Jobs and Responsibilities

  • This role will report into the Office Managers
  • Processing emails and enquiries received into the main inbox.
  • Processing online booking forms received from customers.
  • Updating the bank transfers spreadsheet and logging customer payments in the booking system.
  • Taking customer payments over the telephone and logging them in the booking system.
  • Taking calls from customers and handling their requests.
  • Processing cheques.
  • Updating the overdue payments spreadsheet and following up with late payers.
  • Assist in maintaining office supply levels.
  • Updating and uploading to the company social media accounts.
  • General but relevant tasks not listed above, requested by an office manager.
