£35,000 - £45,000 plus benefits

My client is a market leader within the audio-visual space; extremely well-established with a loyal client base and experience of delivering complex, bespoke AV projects for well-known brands.
Due to expansion, they are looking for an experienced Audio-Visual Engineer to be responsible for successfully installing AV Video Conferencing for corporate clients in the South East.
First and foremost, as an AV engineer you must be able to work to a high-quality standard. You will have excellent installation knowledge and a genuine interest in audio visual solutions – my client works with some of the leading manufacturing names within AV.
AV Engineer – Duties and Experience Required:
- Project lead and commissioning of corporate AV solutions.
- AV on-site installation experience of installing a range of equipment in a range of environments including projection, display screens, interactive technologies, audio solutions, switching, video scalers, signal extenders and digital signage.
- Rack building and wiring.
- PC skills and programming of touch panels.
- Knowledge of product firmware updates.
- Engineering health and safety training and knowledge.
- Diary management.
This role would suit an Audio-Visual Engineer with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience, who is looking to progress their career working with some of the leading names within AV, in a support environment where ongoing training is offered and staff are highly valued. This is a field-based role – the suitable engineer can be based anywhere along the M4 corridor or slightly further afield. Occasional travel is required to the head office in Reading, but most days will spent out on client sites.
