Early Years Teaching Assistant / Preschool Assistant - SN2

My client is seeking an inspiring Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a highly rated Early Years setting. This role offers an incredible opportunity to help foster curiosity and growth in young minds through engaging, hands-on activities in a beautiful, purpose-built space alongside a skilled, supportive team. This role is available on a fixed-term contract until the end of the academic year, working for 22.5 hours per week (Mon to Fri, 8:30-1)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting young children’s emotional, physical, and learning needs, including those with special needs
  • Assisting with the planning, organization, and monitoring of learning activities and Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Maintaining effective relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and self-motivation
  • Collaborating with teachers to create an organized, engaging learning environment
  • Assisting with pupil behavior management, safety, and supervision during breaks and school activities

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Hold a relevant Level 2 qualification for Early Years staff-to-child ratios
  • Skilled in building warm, supportive relationships with children and fostering their confidence
  • Enthusiastic, innovative, and able to bring imaginative ideas to the classroom
  • Committed to the safety and well-being of all students
