What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assist in planning and delivering engaging learning activities under the guidance of the teacher.
  • Support students’ personal, social, and emotional development in small groups or 1:1 settings.
  • Implement learning strategies and adapt teaching based on students’ needs, especially those with SEND or EHCPs.
  • Foster resilience and build confidence in students through targeted interventions.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to monitor and assess student progress.

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Adaptable communication skills to meet the unique needs of individual students.
  • Skilled in supporting emotional literacy and building self-esteem.
  • Knowledgeable in providing learning support, especially in literacy and numeracy.
  • Positive approach to behaviour management, promoting independence and accountability.
