This is a broad and dynamic role that covers statutory accounting, financial reporting, and finance business partnering, along with leading and mentoring a small finance team.Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager:
  • Manage statutory and financial accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Produce financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee technical accounting matters, including VAT reporting.
  • Provide finance business partnering support, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
The Ideal Finance Manager:
  • Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Strong technical expertise, particularly in statutory accounting and VAT.
  • Proven experience in finance business partnering, with a commercial mindset.
  • Excellent systems knowledge, with strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Previous team leadership experience, with a hands-on and motivational approach.
