Aspire People are recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a well-established secondary school in Tamworth. This is an exciting opportunity to support teaching staff and ensure the continued smooth operation of the school in the absence of regular teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage classrooms during the short-term absence of the assigned teaching staff.
Ensure students remain on task and complete work to the best of their ability.
Maintain good order and discipline in line with the school's behaviour policies.
Support with lesson delivery as required, providing assistance to students during independent work.
Liaise with teaching staff and school leadership to ensure smooth transitions and continuity in the learning environment.
Assist in the delivery of group work or small interventions when needed.
Key Requirements:
Previous experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and engage students.
Ability to adapt quickly to new challenges and work independently.
Enthusiasm and commitment to supporting students in their learning and personal development.
