An amazing opportunity is now available for an ambitious, confident individual, looking to showcase their ability within a family feel SME business based in Tamworth.

This is a project role to support an aged debt backlog, originally starting as a 3 month role with the opportunity to continue on a permanent basis within the growing finance team.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and experience dealing with clients. Within this role you will be responsible for your own ledger, ensuring debt is chased and queries resolved. As a Credit Controller, you will directly report to the Finance Manager, working closely together to adapt to the business's needs. Working closely with the rest of the finance team, as well as being a point of contact for other teams to reach out to.

Skills required

  • 1+ years' experience within a similar role would be ideal, this is a stand-alone role and would require an understanding of credit control and confidence
  • Ideally experience or knowledge of Excel, specifically V-Lookups and Pivot Tables.
  • Be an ambitious and hard-working individual, who is looking to further their career and gain valuable knowledge from experts within the field.
  • Have great time management and organisational skills, to enable you to hit a number of tight client deadlines on a weekly and monthly basis.
