Summary As a Service Assistant you'll work across visitor areas, helping different departments deliver high-quality customer service. Working within a bustling atmosphere as part of passionate team, you'll play a core part in delivering fantastic customer service. You will provide a warm welcome and give information about Sunnycroft and visits to Father Christmas to make sure each visitor has an enjoyable and memorable visit. 

Salary: £11.50 an hour

Contract/duration: Fixed Term Contract until 24th December 2024

Hours/working pattern: Zero hours flexible contract. Hours varying each week between 6 and 24 hours a week, depending on business need. Shifts between the times of 9.30am and 7.30pm. Weekend and bank holiday working essential, with shifts over the Christmas period.

Interview date: Friday 18th October 2024

Start date: 27th November 2024

What it's like to work here

For this Christmas post, you will be reporting to the Site Manager. You will be based at the front gates, welcoming visitors on their Christmas visit and coordinating visit times to make sure the operation runs smoothly.

The Sunnycroft team are very enthusiastic about welcoming everyone and the excellent service our team provides plays a huge part in us fulfilling this goal. 

What you'll be doing

From open to close, Sunnycroft will be open for visitors throughout December and you'll play an important role in greeting and helping our visitors. 

No two days will be the same and you can expect to meet lots of different people and help ensure they have a fantastic experience visiting Sunnycroft.

You’ll be welcoming people to the site, coordinating bookings, and ensuring that it all runs smoothly with the support of a dedicated Duty Manager. This role would suit anyone with enthusiasm for delivering great customer service and a keen interest in learning about visitor operations.
