Your Day-to-DaySupport the Registered Manager in ensuring high-quality care and safeguarding for children in a dual-registration home, maximising the life chances of Looked After Children.
Assist in the daily management of two dual-registered homes, ensuring high standards of care, safety, and security.
Implement recommendations from Ofsted Inspections and Regulation 44 visits, reporting to the Group Operations Director when required.
Contribute to the Care Planning process by:
Attending and preparing for childrens conferences, reviews, planning meetings, and core group sessions.
Ensuring accurate and timely maintenance of childrens records.
Completing delegated tasks from the Care Planning process to a high standard.
Maintain all records according to company policies, regulations, and statutory requirements.
Uphold strict confidentiality regarding all duties and information encountered.
Participate in supervision sessions and appraisal processes.
Work with the management team to prepare and implement a rota system ensuring the safety, security, and care of the children.
Perform additional duties as required by the service needs or as directed by the Registered Manager or Group Operations Director.
We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced professional with a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Essential:Must hold a Level 3 NVQ in Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent.
At least one year of management experience and two years in a childrens residential setting or similar residential services.
Demonstrable knowledge and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Must possess a full UK driving licence.
An enhanced DBS certificate will be required upon appointment.
A qualification such as CQSW/DipSW/NVQ 4 in Care or Management, Level 4 NVQ in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People), or Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
Salary: £31,231 to £32,047 per annum + sleep-ins (£60 per sleep).
