Prince are supporting a longstanding client and established business in Telford who are looking for an experienced TIG Fabricator Welder to join their team. You will be working alongside a skilled team who work to produce quality metal and steel products for a range of industries. You will be working to perform fabrication and welding duties onsite and at customer locations, reading technical drawings, quality checking products, and ensuring products meet standards and specifications.
This role will require overtime when needed which will be paid at a premium and will also require travel to customer sites for fitting and install.
The TIG Fabricator Welder will be responsible for:
- Carry out fabrication and welding work on various steel and metal products
- Interpret technical drawings to complete fabrication and welding tasks
- Conduct onsite fitting and installation work at customer sites when required
- Operate various equipment and tools such as TIG, MIG, and arc welding machines
- Work cross functionally within the business to ensure accurate work and deadlines are met
- Ensure products are quality checked and meet specification and standard
- Prepare products ready for fabrication and welding when required
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Skills and Experience
- TIG experience will be ESSENTIAL
- Experience working with sheet metal and steel products
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience working at customer sites
- Driving licence
- Experience with various hands tools and equipment relevant to welding and fabrication
- This role would suit a candidate with previous experience as a TIG Welder Fabrication / MIG TIG Welder Fabrication / TIG MIG Welder Fabrication
