We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our client's team during an exciting period of growth. This role is crucial for supporting their expansion, reducing wastage, and creating efficiencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, ideally within the food sector, and will bring leadership to their dedicated warehouse team.
Day-to-day of the role:- Oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure they align with the business objectives and standards.
- Lead and motivate the warehouse team, fostering a culture of productivity and respect.
- Implement strategies to reduce wastage and enhance operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth integration of warehouse activities with broader business operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate tracking and reporting of stock.
- Develop and enforce safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Analyse operational performance and implement improvements where necessary.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar managerial role in manufacturing, ideally within the food industry.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage middle-management tasks effectively.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse software applications and databases.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
