Are you a passionate and experienced HR professional looking for an exciting opportunity to lead and elevate HR functions? We’re seeking a dynamic Human Resources Manager to join our client and make a meaningful impact.

As the HR Manager, you’ll be at the heart of fostering a motivated, engaged, and cohesive workforce. Operating within a supportive community of seven sites across the UK, this role is pivotal in aligning the team with the company’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee recruitment efforts, including the management of applicant tracking systems on Workday.
  • Design and implement HR policies and procedures that adhere to legal standards and industry best practices.
  • Serve as the primary HR professional on-site, reporting directly to the Site Plant Manager.
  • Address employee relations matters, offering mediation and guidance to ensure a positive workplace culture.
  • Develop and facilitate training programs to drive employee growth and career development.
  • Maintain detailed records within the HR Information System, focusing on sickness and absence management.
  • Communicate seamlessly across all levels of the organization, delivering clear and impactful presentations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proficiency in HR software, particularly Workday.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience—support for further CIPD learning is available.
  • Analytical skills to interpret HR metrics and inform strategic decisions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles and best practices.
  • Outstanding communication skills to effectively convey ideas and inspire engagement.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the business.
