Contract Scotland has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Administrator/ Purchase Ledger to join our specialist client in the Glasgow area who work in the refurbishment, interior fit out and construction sectors. 

To be successful in this role you should have previous experience of purchase ledger and should be confident in your abilities to work independently within a high volume environment. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure compliance through company management systems 
  • Building relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain through professional conduct
  • Processing new supply purchases
  • Reviewing invoices to ensure that they're accurate and correctly formatted
  • Creating credit accounts with new suppliers to finance payments
  • Adding new suppliers' details to in-house systems
  • Using identifying codes to file and store invoices
  • Completion of credit account application forms.
  • Assisting the directors, and all departments with any administrative support as required
  • Responsible for ensuring sufficient stock of office supplies e.g. stationery, cleaning items etc.
  • Any further ad-hoc duties required for the successful day-to-day running of the office
