Loading Shovel Driver - Waste Management

Location: Tilbury, Essex

Shift: Day Shifts (6am - 6pm)

Pay: £14 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

We are currently seeking an experienced Loading Shovel Driver to join our team in the Waste Management sector. This role is based in Tilbury, Essex, and offers day shifts with a competitive pay rate of £14 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the loading shovel to safely scoop up materials from stockpiles or hoppers within the recycling plant area.

• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on the loading shovel to ensure it is operating at peak performance.

• Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Safely drive the loading shovel around the site, handling materials with precision and care.

• Keep accurate records of materials moved and equipment maintenance.

Essential Requirements:

• Valid NPORS or CPCS Loading Shovel Ticket.

• Previous experience as a Loading Shovel Operator, preferably within the waste or aggregates sector.

• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.

• Full PPE required: Steel Toe Cap Boots, High Vis Jacket, Hard Hat, Gloves.
