Mechanical Contracts Manager

Mechanical Contracts Manager, required for our client, an M+E services specialist, based in Wiltshire. The Mechanical Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing a mechanical department dealing with small projects, as well as ongoing servicing and reactive works throughout the Wiltshire area.

The candidate MUST have experience in a previous mechanical contracts managers role. The candidate would ideally come from a technical background within the heating / plumbing sector.

Mechanical Contracts Manager Position Overview

• Preparing cost pricing and estimates for new mechanical / HVAC works / reactive works
• Carry out any amendments or variations to existing projects / contracts
• Review technical drawings and specifications for take offs to create a materials list
• Ensuring SLA's are met, as well as maintaining regular contact with customers to keep them updated
• Ensuring health and safety requirements are met, across the department
• Managing labour, both direct and sub-contractors
• Working from the office in West Wiltshire, with sites visits when required, around the Wiltshire area.

Mechanical Contracts Manager Position Requirements

• Technical background, within the HVAC industry, ideally heating or plumbing
• Experience in a similar role.
• Based within commutable distance to West Wiltshire
• Previous design experience advantageous
• HNC in building services desirable
• SMSTS desirable

Small Works Manager / Project Supervisor Position Remuneration

• Basic salary 50,000 to 55,000, depending on experience
• Company car or car allowance
• 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
• Company phone and laptop
• Working hours - 7:30am - 5pm
