- Lead the preparation of financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses.
- Oversee key reconciliations, such as bank accounts, VAT, CIS, PAYE, and National Insurance.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, including reporting of liabilities.
- Monitor financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Enhance financial systems and processes to support business growth.
- Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (AAT Level 3 or above preferred).
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and payroll processes.
- Advanced Excel skills, with experience in digital financial systems.
- Experience within a commercial finance environment, ideally in a mid-sized business.
- A proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and analytical skills.
