An excellent opportunity has become available for a skilled Legal Secretary to become part of a respected Wills, Trusts & Tax Advisory team in Tunbridge Wells.The Opportunity:This newly introduced position presents an excellent chance for a detail-focused and self-motivated individual with experience in Private Client matters, particularly within the areas of Wills, Trusts, and Taxation. The successful applicant will provide vital support to fee-earners in a busy and fast-growing team.Key Duties:
  • Offering high-level secretarial and administrative support to the Wills, Trusts & Tax Advisory group.
  • Making use of BigHand software for transcription, document creation, and typing tasks.
  • Opening and archiving client files, as well as preparing and processing legal paperwork (such as LPA forms).
  • Managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and ensuring clear and regular client correspondence.
  • Performing all responsibilities with precision and confidentiality at the forefront.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Demonstrated experience within the Private Client legal field, ideally involving Wills, Trusts, or Tax.
  • A warm yet professional demeanour—particularly helpful when handling sensitive, health-related issues.
  • Superb time management and organisational skills, able to balance various tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication abilities—comfortable interacting with clients and professional contacts alike.
  • Openness to a hybrid working pattern—initially office-based for the first six weeks, moving to two days remote per week thereafter.
Package Details:
  • Salary: Depending on experience, between £25,000 - £27,000, plus potential for bonuses.
  • Working Hours: 9:15 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Leave Entitlement: 27 days annual holiday
  • Additional Perks: Company pension, life assurance
