Job Description
- Setting and Operating CNC Star Sliding Head Lathes.
- Workingto tight tolerances
- Producing high precision sub contract components in batches from 10to 1000 off.
- Setting and Operatingusing Fanuc Controls
- Producing parts from various general engineering and exotic materials
- Operating and setting parts in various sizes of material from 2mm - 40mm.
- Understanding tooling and high-pressure machining.
Skills Required
- Setting and Operating CNC Fixed or Sliding headLathes experience
- (The ability to program is advantageous but not essential)
- Previous experience working within a high precision manufacturing environment.
- The ability to read and Interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.
- First time right approach with a high level of attention to detail
- Understanding and use of measuring equipment to drawing spec.
- Must be Self-motivated, dedicated and able to work under own initiative.
- Training will be provided for the correct candidate.
Package on offer
- 25 days paid holiday a year plus all bank holidays
- Day shift Mon to Thursday 07:00 - 15:30 and Fridays 07:00 - 13:00. (37.5 working week)
- Early finish on Fridays
- Company Bonus scheme paid quarterly on completion of targets. Currently 250
