Maintenance Engineering Manager
Location: Uttoxeter
Shifts: Day Shift - 07:00-19:00 (12 hours, 4 on 4 off)

About the Role
As a Engineering Manager you will be an integral part of production line ensuring it operates to company standard and with maximum efficiency. You will be responsible for management of Team Leaders, Technicians and Engineers carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee facilities maintenance of the site and maintenance of the warehouse, while also being hands on and available for your crew whenever needed.
- To co-ordinate the work of the engineering shift teams and achieve seamless continuity on all engineering issues across all shifts.
- Play a key part in the future of this department and will be heavily involved in all decision-making to grow this department and achieve its future goals.
- Ensure all shifts are fully manned with appropriately skilled engineers while leading and motivating them.
About You
The ideal candidate will come from a manufacturing background and looking to further their career in a food manufacturing facility. If you have a maintenance technician or engineering background, are a strong communicator with excellent people skills and looking for a role where no two days are the same, this role is perfect for you.
Key Skills/Qualifications
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background
- Ability to be hands on and carry out repairs when required
- Ideally from an FMCG or manufacturing background.
- NVQ Level 3, HND/HNC or degree in Maintenance/Engineering or can be Qualified by Experience.
