About the JobThis role sits within the Finance team, supporting the Commercial Controller in maintaining financial control and providing key commercial insights. The Commercial Accountant will play a crucial role in financial reporting, trade spend control, and budget analysis while working cross-functionally with teams in the UK and globally.
Duties will include:
- Preparing and analysing monthly commercial P&L reports.
- Supporting the CFO with financial reporting and analysis.
- Managing advertising and promotion expenses, including accruals and variance analysis.
- Overseeing trade spend control, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting.
- Maintaining customer price lists and ensuring compliance.
- Managing the Fixed Asset Register for free-on-loan contracts.
- Assisting with internal and external audits.
- Providing financial reporting and modelling support for commercial projects.
- Collaborating with sales and commercial teams to enhance financial insights.
About the Successful ApplicantThe ideal candidate will be part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) and working towards full qualification. A background in commercial accounting or finance is desirable, along with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively is essential. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel is preferred.
