Teaching Assistant

This role is perfect for a Teaching Assistant who thrives in a nurturing environment and is eager to support pupils with additional needs across Early Years, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with various needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.

• Working alongside teachers and therapists to implement tailored education plans.

• Encouraging student engagement, independence, and confidence in the classroom.

• Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a calm, structured learning environment.

• Supporting students' emotional and social development throughout the school day.

To be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will:

• Have previous experience working with children, ideally in an SEN or school setting.

• Be patient, compassionate, and flexible in your approach.

• Be committed to supporting the individual needs of each pupil.

• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through Reeson Education.

• Be available to work full-time, Monday to Friday.
