Our client is seeking a dedicated HR Administrator to join their Human Resources department on an ongoing temporary assignment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and coordination of the annual Continuous Professional Development planning and delivery programme, as well as supporting the staff Wellbeing strategy.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Manage staff development administration, including course bookings, evaluations, and data input onto HR systems.
  • Monitor staff development budget and provide termly updates to the Assistant Principal – HR & OD.
  • Ensure completion of mandatory training courses and escalate non-completion issues to line managers.
  • Assist with the coordination and administration of staff development and wellbeing days.
  • Maintain and update staff development forms and documentation on SharePoint.
  • Promote and coordinate wellbeing events and initiatives in line with the Wellbeing Policy.
  • Coordinate the planning and delivery of the Staff induction programme for new staff.
  • Act as a point of contact for HR Office visitors, providing customer service and handling general queries.
  • Support the Training and Development Committee, take minutes, and maintain records of College Training activity.
  • Monitor the completion of Appraisals and produce reports by School/Service area.
  • Assist in delivering the HR & OD strategy and participate in Staff Appraisal as required.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Demonstrable commitment to supporting the College’s vision and HR service.
  • Experience in HR administration and coordination, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly SharePoint.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends when required.

You will need experience of supporting a HR/Training function, wit strong systems skills including MS Excel.

THis role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
