Human Resource Advisor

£35,000 - £40,000

Uxbridge

Hybrid position, 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home

No on-site parking available, option for discounted public parking in town

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading business based in Uxbridge, working within a superb HR team (one of the best in town).  Reporting into the HR Manager and supported by a HR Assistant you will be responsible for:

Pay and Benefits:

  • Coordination of payroll, collation of information for the payroll/accounts providers
  • Primary point of contact for employee salary and payroll queries
  • Supporting with annual salary reviews
  • Compensation and benefits support, providing advice for line managers and employees
  • Supporting the Human Resource Manager with the benefits package, benefit trend analysis and shaping the rewards strategy
  • Participating in the wellbeing committee and supporting wellbeing initiatives

Employee relations

  • Advising team leaders on ER matters
  • Assisting with the review of existing policies
  • Managing the maternity process, flexible working initiatives
  • Managing the absence management process
  • Maintaining HR records
  • Assisting the HR Manager with facilitating the annual performance appraisal process
  • Assist with coaching team leaders with Human Resource practices

Learning and development

  • Primary point of contact with apprenticeship providers and supporting existing apprentices
  • Identify ways to utilize the Apprenticeship Levy
  • Remain up to date with industry required training and qualifications
  • Oversee the administration and budget for all learning and development activity
  • Managing educational sponsorship requests

Recruitment

  • Participate in recruitment campaigns
  • Deputise for the Talent and Acquisitions Advisor

Person spec:

  • CIPD qualified – studying at level 5 or above
  • Minimum of 3 years HR experience
  • Proven experience within payroll, rewards, compensation and benefits.
