The ProjectSocial Work Today is an e-newsletter delivered every morning to the Inboxes of professional social workers at all levels of their careers, as well as students and related staff in the sector.Containing news, features, webinars, training tools and more, in conjunction with our website, www.socialworktoday.co.uk, it is becoming the recognised leader in the field.

We are looking for the right person to help build on this initial success by:

  • contributing to our commercial reach with both new and existing clients - many of whom already advertise or exhibit with some of our other company projects.- you will help develop relationships by sourcing new leads as well as utilising our extensive list of contacts;
  • assisting in the expansion of our circulation by utilising our current social media channels, investigating new markets, and developing our relationships in the sector.- you will be expected to help increase our daily circulation supported by our company's sector knowledge and your research of the market;
  • supporting the Publisher and Editor with content, including online conferences.- one key area where we are looking to expand is adding to our online conferences. We would like to recruit someone with the ability to take responsibility for managing these new projects after training and with support.

There will be some work-related travel including to our own related exhibitions, The Compass Jobs Fairs and the Social Work Show, where you will also be part of the set-up team and helping run the Social Work Today exhibition stand.

This is a varied role offering a lot of scope for development to a candidate who is bright, a good communicator, hard worker, willing to learn but capable of taking responsibility themselves when appropriate.
