Robert Half are pleased to be recruiting for a Senior Management Accountant - Immediate Vacancy in Wakefield

An exciting opportunity arises for a focused individual to undertake the role of Senior Management Accountant, situated in the Finance department, at the Head Office in Wakefield, reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller. The role could be offered on either a permanent or a temporary to permanent basis.

Primary Duties:

  • Oversee the management accounts team, Ledger Supervisor, and Credit Controller.
  • Contribute to the creation of monthly accounts for all affiliate companies.
  • Assist in annual audit preparations, budgets, and revised financial projections.
  • Maintain the sales and purchase ledgers.
  • Perform regular analysis on management accounts, preparing related reports when necessary.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proficient in ERP computer systems.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or distribution will be advantageous.
  • Thorough understanding of purchase ledger, sales ledger, and cashbook management.
  • Expertise in Excel with sharp attention to detail.
  • Demonstrable ability to manage a team effectively.

This role is ideal for a finance professional seeking a challenging environment. You will be working on site at the clients offices which has parking available.
