Job Title: Data Centre Engineer

Location: Wakefield & South Yorkshire

Rate: £382.50 per day (inside IR35)

Duration: 3 months (potential to extend)

Tec Partners are working with a world-leading technology client who are currently looking for a an experienced Data Centre Engineer, particularly experienced in equipment decommissioning, to work on an upcoming customer assignment. As a Data Centre Engineer, you'll have responsibility for managing physical aspects of the data centres, particularly the decommissioning of equipment for optimisation of space, power and cooling. You'll also have responsibility for updating and maintaining relevant documentation.

  • Significant experience as a Date Centre Engineer, in a DC operations role
  • Hands-on experience with equipment decommissioning and documentation
  • Knowledge of data centre infrastructure management and relevant asset management software
