They are recruiting a Merchandiser position, this is a brand new role for the company and will add to the great work already done by the team and help take the business to the next level of their growth phase.

Our client are a leading specialist clothing brand with a strong global reach, renowned for their excellent product offerings and exceptional customer experience. They are looking to expand by 200% over the next five years, we are seeking a talented Merchandiser to join their dynamic team and support their ambitious growth plans.

Role Overview:

As a Merchandiser, you will play a pivotal role in range planning, demand planning, and ensuring that our client meets the ever-evolving needs of their customers. You will work closely with the product development and buying teams to forecast and ensure they have the right products in the right place at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute effective range planning strategies to drive product availability and maximise sales.
  • Lead demand planning efforts by forecasting and analysing customer trends and sales performance.
  • Monitor and manage the WSSI (Weekly Sales, Stock and Intake) to ensure stock levels are in line with business objectives and financial targets.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to manage OTB (Open to Buy) and ensure budgets are adhered to.
  • Oversee the critical path to ensure timely delivery of products and smooth operations from concept to store.
  • Use data-driven insights to influence merchandising decisions and ensure optimal product assortment across markets.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a Merchandiser role within the fashion or retail sector.
  • Strong understanding of range planning, demand planning, forecasting, and stock management.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a critical path effectively.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a passion for product and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working towards ambitious goals.
