SEN Teaching Assistant

We are looking for passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to help our students with special educational needs (SEN) excel in their academic, social, and emotional development.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Support classroom activities and help create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere for all students.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to adapt learning materials and strategies.
  • Attend relevant training and professional development sessions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
  • A strong understanding of various special educational needs and strategies to support them.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in education or SEN support are desirable.
