About the Role:
Prospero Teaching is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive school in Wakefield. This is a full-time role, providing essential support to students with special educational needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting students with SEN on a 1:1 or small group basis, ensuring they are fully engaged in learning activities.
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support and learning interventions.
Assisting with the personal, social, and academic development of pupils with additional needs.
Promoting positive behaviour and ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all pupils.
Requirements:

Team Teach qualification is essential (you must have completed the training or be willing to complete it before starting the role).
Previous experience working with children with SEN, particularly autism, ADHD, and other learning or behavioural challenges.
Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
