Mitchell Adam are excited to announce a new Assistant Management Accountant role situated in the Walsall area. Our client is a well-established and fast-growing business that is passionate about delivering excellent quality service. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate with previous exposure to month end that is looking to move into management accounting. The successful applicant will also be an outgoing and motivated individual that is keen to further themselves professionally as this role comes with a progression path to management accounting.
You will be actively supporting the Management Accountant in conducting analysis reports and some financial reporting. You will also be expected to undertake some duties, such as looking after balance sheets, independently. There will also be general exposure to: accruals, profit and loss, and KPIs. You will need to have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to present to teams outside of the financial realm as you will be expected to do this as you progress through your role.
What you'll need:
- Have some previous exposure to preparing month end.
- Be undertaking your professional qualification, preferably CIMA or ACCA.
- Be proficient in using Excel, as well as being confident in learning systems you may not be familiar with.
- Be able to use your own initiative in your day-to-day duties, this business wants you to thrive and grow so they will not be micromanaging you.
