Recruit4Staff are pleased to be representing their client, a leading engineering company in their search for a Manual Machinist to work in their leading facility in Brownhills.
For the successful Manual Machinist, our client is offering:
- Competitive salary of £15 per hour plus 30% shift allowance which takes rate up to £19.50
- Nights - Monday to Thursday, 5:30pm - 3:30am, 38 hours per week.
- Temp to Perm role
- 26 days holiday + 8 statutory days
- Statutory pension scheme
- Free on site parking
The Role - Manual Machinist:
- Operation of manual horizontal boring machine
- Operation of conventional centre lathe
- Change and adjust manual tooling
- Visually inspect and quality check products
What our client is looking for in a Manual Machinist:
- Experience within manufacturing facility - ESSENTIAL
- Conventional machining experience - ESSENTIAL
- Apprentice trained - DESIRABLE
- Experience with traditional machine tools with DRO (Digital Readout) - DESIRABLE
- Overhead crane experience - DESIRABLE
