The Role: SEMH & SEND Teacher
We’re on the hunt for compassionate, resilient, and creative teachers who can support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Whether you’re experienced in SEN settings or a mainstream teacher ready for a fulfilling new direction, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting pupils with complex needs to access learning in a way that works for them

  • Building trusting relationships and creating a safe, structured learning environment

  • Working closely with a skilled multidisciplinary team—including therapists, support staff, and families

  • Using creativity and patience to turn challenges into breakthroughs

What We’re Looking For:

  • Preferably a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)

  • Experience with SEMH or SEND is highly desirable—but the right attitude and values matter more

  • Someone who can stay calm under pressure and adapt to ever-changing needs

  • Someone with a proactive approach that can act on different challenges presented with a positive response 

  • A true believer in inclusive education and student-centred practice

Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
