The impact youll make

You will work with the Executive Chef and Head Chef to manage day to day operations, ensuring quality and standards are delivered.In this role, you will display leadership in guest hospitality, exemplify excellent guest service, and create a positive team atmosphere. You will exhibit culinary talents by personally performing tasks while assisting in leading and developing the team.

What youll be doing

  • Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu
  • Cook food and prepare top-quality menu items in a timely manner
  • Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
  • Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers
  • Support, train and develop commis chefs in the team
  • Use your creative flair and attention to detail to create dishes that put smiles on faces

What we're looking for

  • Great teamwork skills and attention to detail
  • Positive outlook and outgoing personality
  • Previous hotel kitchen experience in a Sous Chef role or a Junior Sous Chef in a hotel kitchen looking for their next role
