Summary:

A lovely returning client is looking for a Nanny for their 7-year-old twins. We placed their last Nanny with them 6 years ago and is only leaving as they are going travelling.

Both boys are diagnosed with ASD. They are verbal but have language delays of a few years. They have no cognitive or physical impairments and are currently in mainstream school, where they receive 1:1 support for a portion of the week.Because of this, by far the most important quality they are looking for is someone who will be caring and responsive to the boys' needs, and champion their ability to thrive and be happy. Both boys are active, enjoying being outside as well as dancing and music, and so high energy is a must! They don't need applicants to have worked with autistic children before, but creativity in finding ways to engage and help the boys learn would be useful.

Duties to include:

  • Cleaning of the home
  • Laundry and ironing
  • Changing beds
  • Batch cooking and preparing meals
  • School collection 5 minutes' walk away, and school drop off is able to work 7am to 9pm
  • Looking after the boys in their home, providing a safe and caring environment for them where they can decompress after school
  • For holidays, looking after the boys in their home and elsewhere, with stimulating, child centred activities.
  • Running errands

HomeOrganisers Ltd acting as an Employment Agency for thispermanent position. Along with your CV, you must also have an up to date DBS and Paediatric First Aid Certificate or be willing to obtain, along with a minimum of 2 last / current employer professional referees that are immediately contactable.
