Our client, well established manufacturing business based in south Warrington is looking for Junior Accounts Assistant to join their finance team.

Ideal candidate is a recent graduate with an AAT qualification or a finance degree looking to start your career in accounting. The company is happy to provide training to a right candidate.

The successful candidate will be a part of the finance team covering EMEA region, dealing with multicurrency invoicing, invoicing discrepancies, bank queries and general customer service.

The role is full-time office based position, working between 8am-4pm Monday to Friday. The basic salary is 24,000 to 25,500 dependant on experience.

The role:

  • Processing multi-currency sales ledger invoices and issuing credit notes.
  • Managing multi-currency purchase ledger entries, including internal orders and company credit card expenses.
  • Conducting credit control and overseeing daily banking activities.
  • Handling email and telephone queries from a diverse customer base
  • Arranging travel for internal departments

Requirements:

  • Intermediate level of Excel, including Pivot tables and Vlookups
  • AAT of finance/accounting degree
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
